CHILDREN / YOUTH
Our Sunday school program meets in the Education Building, following the Message for Children, for children and students ages 3 through 6th grade. For more information, please see Debbie Grob or Marian Latz.
The Church also provides a Nursery service for infants and children through age 5 during the Worship Service. It is located through the left door off the coffee room
MAKE A JOYFUL HARMONY by adding your vocal talent to our choir. All are welcome. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights at 7:00pm and Sunday mornings at 9:30am in the church.
We also offer a Contemporary Music Group that performs monthly during Sunday Service.
Our Junior Choir, for elementary school age children also performs periodically in church. Please see Sanae Miyazaki for more information.
ACTIVITIES \ EVENTS
CLOTHING CLOSET – Will be open each Wednesday in October, from 9:30am-12:00pm, to accept fall/winter items.
CHRISTIANITY’S FAMILY TREE – Our new eight session video Bible study continues this Tuesday, October 3rd, in the Coffee Room at 7:30pm. Join in as Adam Hamilton presents a welcoming, inspiring vision of eight Christian denominations and faith traditions and how each has a unique, valuable perspective to offer. NO Bible Study on October 31st.
CHOIR – 7:00pm on October 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th.
GUY’S BREAKFAST OUT – Our next gathering is scheduled for Saturday, October 7th. We meet at the Ramsey IHOP at 8:00am.
BLUE JEAN SUNDAY – is Sunday, October 8th. We encourage everyone to wear work clothes to church and stay after to help prepare the garden for winter, get some maintenance done, and spruce up around the church.
CONSISTORY – Will meet on Monday, October 9th at 7:00pm
SOUP – It is time to welcome back our fall/winter soup fundraiser. See the insert in the bulletin to order, or download the form, and place it in the office mailbox by Thursday, October 12th.
RRCMGS – Our “RRC Member Garage Sale” is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th, from 9am – 2:30pm (inclement weather, we will move inside). Any “member” can reserve a table for $10 in order to bring their own “stuff” (and take home the leftovers). See Pastor Bill for details and the bulletin board to reserve a table/spot.
LADIES FELLOWSHIP – will next gather on Sunday, October 22nd, following worship where we will have our usual "portable lunch" in Fellowship Hall. Ladies of all ages and their friends are invited out for a good time of fall fellowship.
MISSION SUNDAY – The Sunday, October 22nd, mission will be in support of Hurricane Relief through the Reformed Church in America’s disaster relief effort.
CONSISTORY PRAYER – Consistory will meet on October 23rd at 7:30pm for its quarterly gathering for a time of prayer. If you have any prayer requests, please see Pastor Bill.
GOHLICH FAREWELL DINNER – Come help us celebrate with a delicious catered dinner and a fun evening! Sunday, October 28th at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall. RSVP by October 12th to firstname.lastname@example.org.
COMMUNION – Sunday, October 29th. Celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.
FALL HAYRIDE – Join us at Sun Valley Farms for a hayride, potluck picnic and pumpkin hunting on Sunday, October 29th, at 4:00pm.
WREATHS – Even though it is early-October, now is the time to think about ordering a decorative Christmas wreath for the upcoming season. Orders need to be received by the end of the month for delivery around Thanksgiving. Please use the insert in the bulletin or download the form from the website.
ONLINE GIVING - We are pleased to announce a convenient new way to make your regular offerings. With our new electronic giving program, you can easily set up a recurring giving schedule or make one-time contributions. At NO COST to you! We encourage you to set up a schedule of recurring contributions. It’s convenient for you and provides much needed consistency for our church. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. Even when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, our church will continue to receive your contributions on an uninterrupted basis. To become an electronic giver, contact Roger Knauss or call the church office.
The CENTER FOR FOOD ACTION can always use your help! If you can donate canned or packaged goods, please do so in the boxes located in the foyer and the coffee room.

The CLOTHING CLOSET MINISTRY accepts donations of seasonal clothing any Wednesday between 9:30am and noon. Please click here for more information.

RECYCLE: We have started an Inkjet cartridge recycling program that will benefit the church. If you have used inkjet cartridges to donate, please drop them in the box in the coffee room.
COFFEE HOUR: If you would like to host a time of fellowship following worship, please sign up on the board leading into the coffee room.

FRESH FLOWERS for the sanctuary in honor of a special occasion or in memory of someone may be arranged through the church office.
