CHILDREN / YOUTH
Our Sunday school program meets in the Education Building following the Message for Children for children and students ages 3 through 6th grade. For more information, please see Debbie Grob or Marian Latz.
The Church also provides a Nursery service for infants and children through age 5 during the Worship Service. It is located through the left door off the coffee room

ACTIVITIES \ EVENTS
CLOTHING CLOSET WINTER BAG SALE – The Winter Bag Sale is Saturday, December 1st 9:30am – 12:00 pm (please note the new time). Select from a wide variety of men's, women's, children's and baby items for just $5 per bag. Get a free coat or jacket with each bag you buy.
COMMUNION – We will be celebrating the sacrament of the Lord’s super on Sunday, December 2nd.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – There will be a brief meeting following worship on Sunday, December 2nd, for the purpose of electing elders and deacons to our 2019 Consistory.
DECORATE – Also following the congregational meeting (Sunday, December 2nd), we will be decorating our sanctuary tree. Please stay as you are able!
CHOIR – Wednesdays, December 5th, 12th, and 19th at 7:30pm. There will be no choir on Wednesday, December 26th.
GUY’S BREAKFAST OUT – Our next gathering is scheduled for Saturday, December 8th. Meet at the Ramsey IHOP at 8:00am for a time of fellowship and good food.
FOLLOW THE STAR – Christmas pageant and Fellowship Supper are coming up next Sunday, December 9th, at 4: 00PM. Rehearsals are Saturday mornings, December 1st and 8th, at 10:30AM. Please sign-up on the bulletin board for the pot luck supper, and/or for more information, please see Marian Latz, or Debbie Grob.
POINSETTIAS – If you would like to help decorate the church sanctuary for Christmas by ordering poinsettias to honor or commemorate loves ones, please use the form found in the bulletin or this link. Flowers are $7.50 a piece (4-6 blooms each). You are welcome to take any plants you have ordered with you following the last Christmas Eve service. Please place your order by Monday, December 10th.
CONSISTORY – Will meet on Tuesday, December 11th at 7:00pm. Elders will meet at 6:00pm.
SOUP FOR YOU – We are continuing our soup fundraiser through the cold months to help keep us warm. If you would like to order, please use the insert in the bulletin or this link. Orders are due on Monday, December 13th for pick-up on the 21st.
CAROLING – We are planning on going Christmas caroling on Sunday, December 16th, as we sing for our friends at Norfolk Village and the Woodlands in Ramsey. Meet at church at 12:30PM or at Norfolk Village at 1:00PM as we have fun and help share the wonder of the season.
OPEN HOUSE – Please join us for some good food and fellowship at the manse on Sunday, December 16th, from 4: 00 to 6:00pm. Stop by for a few minutes to say ‘hello’ or stay for a while. See Pastor Bill or Debbie for details.
MISSION – Mission Sunday is December 23rd. The mission for December is RCA Disaster Relief supporting those in need from the effects of recent hurricanes and wild fires.
COOKIE EXCHANGE – For coffee hour on December 23th, we thought it would be nice to bring in some holiday cookies to enjoy and to share. No need to sign up, just bring in some of your favorite cookies, and if there are leftovers, we can take some home!
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES – Please join us for one of our Christmas Eve services on December 24th at 7:00pm and 11:00pm.
LIVE COURAGEOUSLY – Thank you to all who have pledged for Consecration Sunday. To date, we have received 21 pledges totaling $61,724! If you would like to make a pledge for 2019, there are cards available in the pews. Your generosity is always appreciated.
CLOTHING CLOSET – is now accepting seasonal clothing. They are open each Wednesday from 9:30AM – noon. Questions? Call Joan at (201) 529-4329 or the church office.
ONLINE GIVING - We are pleased to announce a convenient new way to make your regular offerings. With our new electronic giving program, you can easily set up a recurring giving schedule or make one-time contributions. At NO COST to you! We encourage you to set up a schedule of recurring contributions. It’s convenient for you and provides much needed consistency for our church. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. Even when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, our church will continue to receive your contributions on an uninterrupted basis. To become an electronic giver, contact Roger Knauss or call the church office.
The CENTER FOR FOOD ACTION can always use your help! If you can donate canned or packaged goods, please do so in the boxes located in the foyer and the coffee room.

The CLOTHING CLOSET MINISTRY accepts donations of seasonal clothing any Wednesday between 9:30am and noon. Please click here for more information.

RECYCLE: We have started an Inkjet cartridge recycling program that will benefit the church. If you have used inkjet cartridges to donate, please drop them in the box in the coffee room.
COFFEE HOUR: If you would like to host a time of fellowship following worship, please sign up on the board leading into the coffee room.
